About

Hi,

I’m a Code Monkey Software Engineer currently working on the next Windows Phone OS for Microsoft. Working at Microsoft for the last 4 years has given me the opportunity to work on projects from Virus Scanners to Spam Analysis tools, from the Windows Phone to HBI/PCI Detection and Enforcement software.

I was born in Hobart, Tasmania home of the Tasmanian Devil. As soon as I learned how to swim I ventured to the mainland and made my way up the coast to Brisbane, Australia. I studied Engineering (software double-major) at the University of Queensland Australia.

As soon as they handed me my graduation paper I packed my bags and stowed away on the next boat to Seattle, USA where on arrival they pumped me full of coffee and sent me to the “east side” to start the American dream.

This site is a collection of the projects I’ve worked on, projects I’m currently working on, and projects I really hope to get around to one day. You can see a full work history and my curriculum vitae on the résumé page.

Enjoy having a look around and feel free to drop me a line if you’d like to know anything more!

Nick
